American Bean Bake
8 individual frankfurters, thinly sliced
1 cup onion, chopped
2 tbls. butter
2 tsps. mustard, dry
1 1/2 tsps. allspice
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tbls. brown sugar, firmly packed
10 ozs. American or Cheddar cheese, optional
1 can 28 oz. B&M Original Baked Beans
Directions
Preheat oven to 350° F. In skillet, lightly brown
sliced frankfurters with onion, butter, allspice, dry
mustard, and pepper, mixing well. Pour beans into a baking
dish. Add ketchup and brown sugar; mix well. Spread evenly
over the bottom of the dish. Layer frankfurters over beans.
Top with cheese slices, if desired. Bake for 30 minutes.
Makes 8 servings.

England Style Stuffed Peppers
1 can (28 oz.) B&M Baked Beans, any flavor
1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons chopped onion
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
4 medium-sized green peppers
Directions
In a bowl, mix together baked beans, cheese, ketchup,
onion and mustard. Cut a thin slice from the stem end
of each pepper. Remove all the seeds and membranes. Wash
inside and outside. Lightly stuff each pepper with bean
mixture and place on double thickness heavy duty aluminum
foil. Wrap securely. Cook on grill over medium-hot coals,
20 to 25 minutes, turning once.
Makes 4 servings.

Cheesy Bean Dip
1 tablespoon margarine
1 large onion, sliced and quartered
1 jar (18 oz.) or 1 can (16 oz.) B&M Original Baked
Beans, mashed
8 oz. low sodium Swiss cheese, cubed
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 loaf (16 oz.) French bread, cut into cubes
Directions
In a medium saucepan, melt margarine; add onion and cook
until tender. Add beans, cheese and cayenne pepper, stirring
until melted and smooth. Serve in warming dish with bread
cubes as dippers. Microwave Directions
In a 2-quart microwave-safe dish, microwave margarine
on HIGH 30 seconds. Stir in onion; microwave on HIGH 1
minute. Stir in beans, cheese and cayenne pepper. Microwave
on HIGH 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes or until melted
and smooth.
Makes 3 1/2 cups dip. 
Country
Baked Beans
1 can (28 oz.) B&M Country Style Baked Beans
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup real bacon bits
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
Directions
In a large, deep casserole dish or bean pot, mix together
baked beans, ketchup, bacon bits, onion, brown sugar and
mustard. Bake at 325°F. for 40 minutes.
4 to 6 servings
